Our Team

As an STO, I hope to efficiently communicate with my fellow officers to organize events and problem-solve. I have been in productions since I was nine, and have played multiple leads as well as ensemble and supporting roles. I have also pparticipated in multiple workshops and acting, vocal, and dance classes since a young age. I have attended the 2025 New York Thespian Festival and 2025 NYSTEA. I am also part of Fort Hamilton's Drama E-Board. Playing guitar is a non-theatre related thing I love doing. Thespians can expect me to hear other's conflicts or ideas, and further develop logical ways to help solve them or make the idea come to life. One of my favorite theatre activities I've been a part of was attending NYSTEA because of how much feedback I got performance-wise, as well as the opportunity I got to perform infront of a new audience and meet new people.

Mathias Boodram

TBA

Hello my name is Mathias Boodram! I’ve been involved with numerous shows ranging from my schools showcases, to Shrek Jr. the musical, Beauty And The Beast Jr. musical, Queens by Lindsay Price, and I’ve also gone to my old elementary school and dressed and acted the part as certain characters from their movie nights. Outside of theatre crocheting is my favorite hobby to pass time and plus I’m creating something cute and wonderful all in one! One of my favorite shows that I have done would have to be Shrek Jr. which I played lord Farquad, as well as be a co-set and costume designer. It really put my creativity, dedication and pure will power to the test. But in the end it paid off 100%. However, as a STO, my goals are to encourage others to join theater, in general raise awareness, and give the same love and passion that I have for theatre all around the world by connecting with other troops and showing the astonishing world of theatre off. As a leader I will make it my pride, joy, and goal to be attentive, cooperative, creative, mature, and as helpful one can be. Can’t wait to see what this position brings me and what amazing work we can create all together as a theatre family!

Mariangel Osorio

Good morning! My name is Mariangel and I’ve began theater my sophomore year of high school as a crew member for our play. Since starting, I fell in love with being backstage but also being helpful. I’ve always tried to just do what needs to be done. my favorite i have been a part of my high schools spring production of legally blonde, where there were many wacky moments and happy mishaps that made the whole experience unforgettable. I became a thespian in the beginning of my junior year from how many points I had from simply helping my director out and just being present with the theater events. On my off time I really enjoy learning new skills like making yarn bracelets or learning new braid styles. I like being curious and this can help me bring new ideas to the table, as well as work very well with people around me. My goal for being an STO is to be able to show everyone the amazing community I got introduced to when I first began and I can’t wait to continue my journey with another amazing group of people!

A goal I have for this year is to learn as much as I can to take back to the theater in my community. I always want to respect my fellow thespians in any way I can and make sure to consider their ideas. A big part of why I took on this role is to advocate for everyone in the theater community, which has always been a priority for me.
